Now don't take this the wrong way.
Your structure is good but if you want to make a name for yourself sampling (or creating music in general), you can't just throw a drum beat and a bass-line over a looped Lionel Richie sample. Literally anyone can do that and they have done that a million times over.
The only time, and I mean the only time I enjoy hearing a recognizable sample is when the song is paying tribute or homage to the original artist.
Try to choose samples more obscure that you can layer and re-form into something that is yours. Or completely flip the sample so the listener thinks 'where the hell did they get this sample'. Never just rely on one sample, especially from a well-known artist to build your work off of.
