I know I gave you a shit review a long time ago on one of your tracks but I'll have to agree that you've improved dramatically. Keep fine-tuning and working on your flow. I'll also have to agree with CKC on the mic, the volume levels are inconsistent. But overall, it's good to hear a NG underdog improve.

I was goin through your newer tracks, my girlfriend immediately recognized the donkey kong sample in this one, we both like this one a lot.
That and the vocal samples work really well here. I don't understand how this was below a 4 before I 5'd it.

My two cents.
Haywyre, this isn't bad, but just compared to your other stuff I'd probably pass on this song. Example, if you had an album together this would be a track I would listen to occasionally instead of every time I popped the album in.
The piano part that comes in at 1:04 and then the flute-esq. sound at 1:26 reminds me of too many horrible smooth jazz albums I've been forced to listen to while sample sifting. I'd really consider changing that altogether.
However I really dig the outro, 2:09 afterwards is great.
Now don't take this the wrong way.
Your structure is good but if you want to make a name for yourself sampling (or creating music in general), you can't just throw a drum beat and a bass-line over a looped Lionel Richie sample. Literally anyone can do that and they have done that a million times over.
The only time, and I mean the only time I enjoy hearing a recognizable sample is when the song is paying tribute or homage to the original artist.
Try to choose samples more obscure that you can layer and re-form into something that is yours. Or completely flip the sample so the listener thinks 'where the hell did they get this sample'. Never just rely on one sample, especially from a well-known artist to build your work off of.

None of your songs really have a 'hip-hop' quality to them. This one vaguely has a hip-hop beat, but that's about it. This still sounds video-game-ish to me, or maybe even industrial. I think you'd have better luck submitting songs like these into those categories.
I'd change the genre.
Not much hip hop going on here, you say it's an instrumental, but it would be tough for someone to write to this. This sounds like it belongs in a Sega Genesis game.
It's a tad repetitive and irritating for my tastes, but it's original.
